Sometimes when life happens, it is hard to find the motivation to keep going. It is hard to see how this is working for your good, when all you see is bad. I want to encourage you that even in tough times, you can find the motivation to continue to thrive even in dark places.
In order to stay motivated:
- Pause for the cause. You must allow yourself a moment to stop and listen to what is really going on in your life. We can be so quick to react to something when we should stop so that we can respond instead. Take a moment to process what is really going on in your life and then listen to the instruction that God gives.
- Keep the end in mind. Think about what you really desire and keep that in mind. You are not focusing on whats going wrong and what has happened in the past. You are making the decision to think about your desired result.
- Unplug from negativity. People, places or things that give you bad vibes, remove yourself from it. You cannot expect to be motivated in situations that leave you comfort to have a pity party. You have to understand that in order to believe and provoke what you need to come, you need the right atmosphere.
- Tune in to something positive. In order for your faith tank to remain full, you need some positive resources in your life. You need to listen to something motivation, read something that will increase your faith and keep believers around you.
- Learn to celebrate along the way. In tough times we can be so quick to want out that we forget to count our blesses along the way. We can forget to be grateful and waste so much time complaining and being angry that we forget that God is blessing us even in our mess.
Take a moment to really think about what is stealing your joy and peace and begin to change your life starting now. Stay motivated by applying the points above and really deciding to trust God to handle any situation in your life.
Be Blessed!
